007 First Light Patch 1.0.1 — May 29, 2026

IO Interactive released patch 1.0.1 for 007 First Light on May 29, 2026 — two days after launch. This addressed the most critical launch-day issues reported by the community.

What Was Fixed in 1.0.1

Server and save fixes:

  • Reduced frequency of server disconnect errors during autosave
  • Improved save file integrity checks
  • Fixed rare save rollback issues that affected some players
  • Stabilized online validation during peak traffic

Stability fixes:

  • Fixed startup crash on systems with hybrid Intel/NVIDIA graphics
  • Reduced crash frequency during long play sessions
  • Fixed rare crash when accessing TacSim menu
  • Fixed audio crash during specific cutscenes

Gameplay fixes:

  • Fixed rare case where Q-Lens would not highlight collectibles in Chapter 5
  • Fixed enemy AI pathing issue in Grand Carpathian Hotel third floor
  • Fixed text overlap in certain subtitle languages

Known Remaining Issues

As of the 1.0.1 patch, the following remain under investigation: some controller input lag reports on PC when using DualSense, occasional texture pop-in on PS5 during fast transitions, and a rare achievement tracking bug where the Casino Royale trophy does not trigger immediately upon collecting the final card.

Future Updates

IO Interactive has confirmed that path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction are delayed to a Summer 2026 update. New TacSim content is also planned for the coming months. The studio's CDO stated the launch is "just the beginning" for post-launch support.
