007 First Light contains exactly 92 collectibles across five distinct categories. Finding every item unlocks the "A Collector's Habit" trophy and individual achievements for each category. The best news: nothing is permanently missable — Chapter Select lets you replay any checkpoint at any time.

Critical Unlocks for Collectible Hunting

Two gadgets are non-negotiable for 100% completion. The Q-Watch unlocks automatically in Chapter 4 and highlights nearby collectibles in bright yellow when you hold L1/LB. The Laser Strap unlocks in Chapter 9 and is required to break certain locks blocking several items. Without the Laser Strap, multiple collectibles in Chapters 10 through 17 become unreachable.

Always equip the Laser Strap from Chapter 9 onward. If Chapter Select resets your gadget loadout, replay Chapter 9 first to re-unlock it before jumping into later missions.

Collectibles by Chapter

Chapter 1: Against the Odds (Iceland)

The prologue mission serves as a gentle introduction to collectible hunting. Snowstorms reduce enemy visibility, creating natural stealth windows for thorough exploration. Use the zipline shortcut near the cliffside to access a heavily guarded area that most players rush past. Check every tent and crate along the evacuation route.

Chapter 2: In His Majesty's Secret Service (MI6 London)

Your first look inside MI6 headquarters. Examine every terminal and document in the briefing room. The Lennox Monroe Intel file appears near the main desk — look for a folder with the recruitment symbol. Cressida Bright's Intel file can be found in a present box on her desk.

Chapter 4: A New Home (Malta / London)

The Selina Tan Intel collectible appears inside Q's room near a table positioned toward the back corner. Another Intel file named "00 Recruits" is located close to the SUV terminal inside Q-Branch. This chapter marks the first appearance of the Q-Watch, so scan methodically through every room.

Chapter 5: A Night Out (London)

The nightclub environment is dense with hiding spots. Lennox Monroe Intel file can be collected from a dresser inside the mansion's living room area. Cressida Bright's Intel file appears in a present box placed on a bed inside her room. Upper floors often contain Postcards that are easy to miss during the story rush.

Chapter 7: A Matter of Considerable Delicacy (Vienna)

Files like "Arrowhead" and "009 Profile" become available around Moneypenny's workspace and nearby stations. Office terminals throughout the Vienna sequence contain readable documents — some count as Intel, others are flavor text. Use the Q-Watch scan on every desk to catch everything.

Chapter 8: All the Time in the World (Slovakia)

The Grand Carpathian Hotel is the largest collectible-rich environment in the game. The Laundry Door code is 1805 and the Manager's Office Safe code is 1952 — both areas contain additional collectibles. The fireplace puzzle in the Dining Room requires selecting Lion → Goat → Snake in order, opening a hidden passage with extra items. Pay special attention to safes, locked drawers, and underneath furniture throughout the hotel.

Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies (Mauritania)

Aleph, the black market hub, has extensive outdoor areas that are easy to sweep past. The Laser Strap is essential here — it opens locked containers and gates that block collectible paths. Check every shipping container and tent. Legacy Items become more frequent in late-game chapters.

Chapter 11: Uninvited (London)

The museum and costume rooms contain numerous collectibles. The Maintenance Door code is 3256 — the clue is in a laptop inside the nearby library where an email references the current staff access code. Museum Courtyard Keycard is behind this door along with additional collectibles.

Chapter 12: Knightfall (Webb Industries)

Nicholas Webb's penthouse safe code is 1493 — this is connected to objects in his office. Look for the sequence of penthouse items that reveals the code. The Penthouse area contains some of the most valuable collectibles in the game. Check every drawer, every bookcase, and behind paintings.

Chapter 15: Man of the Hour (Q-Lab)

Q-Lab Q-08 Armoury Door code is 1324 — the clue is connected to the shooting range leaderboard where Waters holds the record. Q-Lab Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet code is 4397. The Service Pistol is inside the armory. Q's Photo collectible is locked inside the stress testing cabinet.

Chapter 16: Wave of the Future (Antarctica)

The Security Office Archives Door code is 1864 — this is the trickiest keypad puzzle in the game because it uses a logic note rather than a simple nearby number. The archives contain a shortcut and several valuable collectibles. The Antarctica facility is the final major collectible-rich environment.

Chapter 17: For England (MI6 London — Finale)

The MI6 defense sequence and the 00 designation ceremony contain a handful of final collectibles. Sweep the building carefully during the defense phase before rushing to the finale.

  • Play the campaign normally and grab anything the Q-Watch highlights after Chapter 4
  • After the credits, open Chapter Select with every gadget equipped including Laser Strap
  • Sweep mission by mission, ticking each chapter off using this guide
  • Collectibles save instantly on pickup — quit immediately after grabbing one
  • Press Touchpad to open the in-game tracker and filter by type to identify gaps
