The Q-Watch — Your Most Important Reconnaissance Tool

The Q-Watch runs on battery power and is permanently equipped — it cannot be removed from Bond's loadout. It operates in three distinct modes, each serving a specific reconnaissance purpose. Battery management is critical: keeping all modes active simultaneously is a fast path to running out of power at the worst moment.

Mode 1: Scanning (Radar)

Scanning provides X-ray vision within a 15-meter radius. It reveals the exact viewing vectors of every NPC through walls and ceilings. This is the most powerful stealth tool in the game but also the fastest battery drainer.

Activate Scanning only to fix patrol routes in your head, then deactivate immediately. Leaving it running during movement is wasteful and leaves you powerless when you need it most.

Mode 2: Identification (Profiling)

Point the Q-Watch at any target to display hidden tags. Three tags appear: Vulnerable, Armed, or Bystander. These tags tell you exactly how to approach each enemy. The critical tag is "Observer" — this identifies a Watcher who cannot be bluffed.

Mode 3: Threat Analytics (Alarm Monitor)

Threat Analytics shows the overall combat readiness of the current sector as a gauge or meter. If the scale starts to grow, the AI has registered your mistakes. Use this as a signal to retreat before a general alarm is raised.

Battery Management

Recharge batteries by holding the interact prompt on powered electrical devices marked with a blue battery icon. These are visible when Q-Lens is active. Always top up before entering high-threat zones.
