What Are Watchers?

Watchers are elite security personnel who appear throughout 007 First Light. They are distinguishable from regular guards by a white dot marker above their heads. They wear the same disguises as regular guards, which makes identification critical.

⚠️Field Warning

Watchers CANNOT be bluffed under any circumstances. Attempting to use social stealth on a Watcher instantly triggers the alarm. There are no exceptions to this rule.

How to Identify Watchers

Use Q-Lens to scan guards before attempting any social interaction. When you point the Q-Lens at a Watcher, it displays an "Observer" tag. This is the key identifier that tells you social stealth will not work.

Correct approach for Watchers:

  • Give them a wide berth — avoid their sightlines entirely
  • Eliminate them silently from behind if you must pass through their area
  • Do not attempt to bluff, lure, or use disguise on them
  • Watchers see through all disguises — disguise alone will not save you
💡Agent Intel

The white dot above a Watcher's head is visible even without Q-Lens once you know what to look for. Train yourself to spot it during early missions so it becomes second nature in later chapters.
